Friday of Camp - CANCELLED

Due to the closing of Paulding County School facilities on Fridays in July we are not permitted to hold guard camp / rookie camp this Friday. Please do not bring your children to school this Friday as there will not be supervision. This was announced yesterday and will continue to be announced throughout the week.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

On the positive side: Camp is going very well. The guard is learning new techniques at a rapid rate! Especially when considering that there is a record number in attendance this year: 30! And the rookies are a day ahead of where we expected. We will continue to work hard and push towards advanced achievements.

Guard and Rookie Camp

Just a reminder that Monday we start our Guard and Rookie Camp. If you have never marched with the Spirit of South Paulding Marching Band then you are considered a rookie and should attend the rookie camp. If you are in the colorguard then you need to attend the colorguard camp. Both camps are all week long from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Please plan on being early since we will be starting at 9:00am.

Please eat a light but fulfilling breakfast and pack a lunch. For security reasons, students will not be permitted to leave campus for lunch. Also, plan on being in the sun during camp, wearing sunscreen is strongly advised. Water will be provided, but it is always a good idea to pack a water bottle as well.

Please bring your instrument, music, and all equipment that has been issued to you.

Guard Dance Class-July 13, 2009 6-9:00pm

Attention all Guard Members: We will be having our Scheduled Dance class on Monday, July 13th from 6-9:00Pm @ South Paulding High School. The cost is $10.00 per person. Please make all efforts to be there because we will be sizing you for uniforms and also issuing practice equipment.
