Part II of the show (Hover Craft) is now on charms along with an mp3 of the music. Please pass the word along so that you will have a chance to download and print it before our first read together which is coming up. Next week - July 6 - we are having a voluntary, fun, reading session for all who would like to attend. It will be from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. We hope that you can print your parts and look at them a little before arriving Monday.
Hope to see you there!
Mr. Carr

Get your family and friends to visit the website!
Out of 150 members, we have only had 21 visit the website and vote for their favorite division one drum corp! This means that either people are visiting the website and just not taking the time to vote -- OR -- people are not visiting the website! The website is a great way to stay up to date about what is happening and is a good portal to charms....
Let's make it a goal to have at least 125 votes on the DCI poll! Can we do it???

Booster Club Minutes
FYI the minutes from each booster club meeting will be posted via pdf on the web sometime after the booster club meeting. We hope that these will serve as reminders for those who were in attendance (thank you for coming :) ) and as a way for those who might have missed the meeting to catch up. Please do your best to stay informed - if you are not receiving e-mails from us then please check your information at www.charmsmusic.com. This is the website that we are using to get our contact information.
The only minutes that are current are the ones for June.
Thanks!

Wiffle Ball Tournament
If you would like to help set up the wiffle ball tournamnet please show up tomorrow morning at 7:00am. The tournament will be held on the track field instead of the baseball field due to a baseball tournament that our baseball team is hosting this weekend. We have only had 3 teams register so far, but it will be fine for you to register tomorrow morning. If you have not registered yet please have at least one member of your team here by 7:45am to register your team. A bracket will be drawn up at 8:00am and our first game will start ASAP there after. Remember that there will only be 5 person teams, so it costs $25.00/team.
See you in the morning!

Summer Woodwind Voluntary Practices
I hope that all are having a good summer so far. We are finishing up a very successful percussion camp. Mr. Coheley is working magic!
Mr. Carr will be in the band room the following times during the summer. We encourage woodwind students to come in for individual practice for help reaching summer practice goals. Oboe class is from 9:00am - 10:00am, Private lessons are scheduled until 1:00pm, Flute class is from 1:00pm - 2:00pm and clarinet class is from 2:00pm - 3:00pm. Mr. Sims has expressed an interest in teaching saxophones this summer. If you would like his contact information please e-mail me at ccarr@paulding.k12.ga.us. He already has one lesson lined up and would like more.
Mr. Slay will be providing brass help, and will be posting times soon.
All times are voluntary. Students will not be penalized for not participating.
Here are Mr. Carr's dates: June 15, 29 and July 6, 20. I hope to see many students during these times.
