Treasurer Update

This is a copy of the e-mail sent out by Ms. Hites last night.

Hello Parents!
Our Booster meeting is tomorrow 8/22 @ 7:00. All paid fee's and fundraiser funds have been posted. Any concerns that were emailed to me previously have been addressed. Thanks so much for your patience!
VETS ONLY: There has been a $25.00 fee billed to each acct. This is due to an addition error on the initial band fee billing. The $25.00 addition corrects this error.
I want to thank all parents who have kept their acct current. Our bills are getting paid and we have a little left over. We do have a large expense coming up and that is our competition so for those who are behind on their payments, please keep current.
I have a list of names that Mr. Thomas gathered at one of our booster meetings to help out with the upcoming competition. I will be calling each of you to let you know that there will be a meeting for these folks on the 29th of August.
Finally-pls double check your email on charms. I have about 20 undeliverable emails everytime I send one out.

Booster Meeting Monday, August 22, 2011

Just a reminder that we have a booster meeting tomorrow evening. See you at 7:00! Guard and percussion still have practice, we will meet while they work with staff.

Need Volunteers Next Tuesday

We need HELP cleaning the concession stand, fryers and grill before the first home game on the 26th. Jeff Dillard and I went to try and load drinks Tuesday night and the coolers/freezers and refrigerators were a little on the NEED cleaning side. I will mention this at the meeting on Monday night, but I need to try and have people lined up before if I could. We would like to clean it on Tuesday night during the late practice (6:00PM-9:00PM) night, so whoever could meet up there at 6 or sometime before practice is over to help would be very much appreciated.

MEETING SCHEDULED FOR ALL BOOSTER MEMBERS

The following has been copied from the Athletic Newsletter that was sent out by our District Athletic Director, Mr. David Colvard. 
"The district athletic department has scheduled a meeting for all of the high school booster clubs. The meeting is set for Wednesday, August 17th at 7:00PM in the auditorium at East Paulding High School. The purpose of the meeting is to share the school district guidelines and other information related to the operation of booster clubs in our district."

Pictures Rescheduled

The pictures that were scheduled today for band have been rescheduled to Tuesday at 5:00PM.  Students need to be in uniform by 5:00 for pictures.  I apologize for the inconvenience, but we couldn't get our shoes and gloves in time for our original picture time.

We are practicing today

A heat advisory has been issued for Paulding County and our school district has cancelled all outdoor activities until 6:00pm.  In accordance with this precaution we will still have practice, but it will be inside.

Tomorrow's practice has been affected as well.  We will all meet indoors tomorrow to ensure the safety of our children.
