Below is information about our annual Holiday Collaboration
of the Arts concert and about our Dallas Christmas Parade.

Our annual Holiday Collaboration of the Arts
concert is next Thursday, December 12th, at 6:30 PM in the SPHS Theater.
Tickets are $8 and can be purchased starting TODAY on Hometown. Here is

Paulding Spartans - Ticket Spicket We recommend you purchase tickets early,
because the event always sells out! Buy your tickets early! Students should be in the band room on
the 12th, dressed and ready to perform, no later than 5:30 PM. The Wind
Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band will all warm up in the Band Room
together at 5:30 PM. We will be wearing "Sunday Best" again for
this performance.

This weekend is the Dallas Christmas
Parade. Here are the logistics:
The parade is on December 7th. Our
students will meet that morning at the Paulding Senior Center at 9
AM. The parade starts at 11:30 AM. Students should be
finished with the parade by 1:00 PM.
For students who are driving themselves,
they will be required to park at the Paulding Senior Center.
The band will transport sousaphones, flags,
percussion instruments, and marching band uniforms to the parade.
Students will wear their marching band uniforms and Santa hats.
Students are responsible for securing their own Santa hat.
We recommend you drop your students off
with us at the Paulding Senior Center, park somewhere in Downtown Dallas, and
watch the parade somewhere towards the end of the parade so when students are
done they do not have to walk all the way back to the beginning of the
parade.
***We have had problems in the past with students forgetting to bring their
marching band shoes.*** Please help your child remember shoes on the
morning of the parade!
