Good job!

Great last few days!  Excellent second game and first away game of the season.  I appreciate all of our parent volunteers who made it so successful and the class in which our students represented our program.  Also, our performance at Paulding Meadows was a great success!  Although we encountered some heavy rain in the middle of the performance, you maintained the highest level of performance quality and performed great.  I was a little bummed because we did not get to perform all of the new pieces for our community, but I had a huge smile on my face because of the level of which you represented our school and band program.  By far the best that you have sounded this year!  Let's continue the focus and drive that we have seen on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!  Thank you for your dedication and determination!

Next week we have guard 4:00-6:30 and percussion 6:00-9:00 and Cheeseburger Bobby's on Monday, full band 6:00-9:00 on Tuesday, early release at 1:30 on Wednesday (No rehearsal), full band 3:45-6:30on Thursday, and full band on Friday 3:45-6:00 (No Game).  We will learn the remainder of the drill for the show this week!

I am super excited about the progress that we have made so far and look forward to putting the final polish on the show these next few weeks.  This year continues to get better and better.  Let's continue to live our lives day to day like champions, because  your hard work is paying off as these small successes build towards the culmination of our season.  Continue with this focused attitude and no one will be able to take that feeling away from you when you come of the field at Rockmart and Hart County.  The pride that you will feel will be worth its weight in gold, because of the energy and intensity that you continue to invest every day and there is nothing like it!  See you next week!
