Congratulations to our Drum Major candidates!

On Friday before Spring Break we had seven very brave students who had the opportunity to conduct the South Paulding High School Wind Ensemble through Defying Gravity.  All of the students prepared well and had a moment of growth on the podium that day.  Cheyanne Cowart, Shannon Crawford, Cody Graham, Claudia Hess, Ashton Kluttz, Mackenzi Miller, and Mary Kathryn Newton: I am proud of each of you for having the courage to want to make a difference and the fortitude to stand in front of your peers while leading them through a piece of music.  This is a very daunting task and you all did a wonderful job.  Continue to hold your head high because you are the ones who make a difference in our band every day.  Because of you, Spirit's leadership looks very bright for next year!
