Hi Everyone -
Lots of exciting things going on next week. Here's what you need to know:
Next Friday we are AWAY at Alexander HS. We will leave SPHS at 5:30 PM.
Next Saturday, September 10th, the
band performs at Paulding Meadows. Our performance time is 9:00 AM.
Students should be to Earl Duncan Park no later than 8:00 AM. For those
who are new to Paulding Meadows, traffic in the morning can really be an
issue. All members of the band must use the Northside Elementary School
entrance Saturday morning for the performance. Please plan on arriving EARLY so that your child is not
LATE. For those parents who are not working with the Band for Paulding
Meadows, tickets are $3 per person. Students are wearing their CASUAL
uniform for our Paulding Meadows performance. Make sure to tell them at
the gate that your child is performing in the band. The gate will
direct you to the proper location to meet us.
FYI - Student and Parent Volunteers for Paulding Meadows must wear closed toe shoes and a hat (we can also provide a hair net). We do have tickets for those who are working Paulding Meadows, and those will go home with student's next week. The only people who will need a ticket are those who are leaving on Paulding Meadows Saturday after our performance and coming back later, or anyone working on Sunday.
