Paulding Meadows

Hi Everyone -

Please see the message from Lori and Phillip Hayes below:

Thank You!!!!

We would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to all the parents and students, who made Paulding Meadows Arts and Crafts Festival an incredible success.

We could not have done any of this without volunteers signing up and working the food booth, parking lot, and the front gate along with all the donations of Oreos, soda, and water that were brought in the last few weeks. This is a huge fundraiser for the band and the student’s individual account.

We are now asking if anyone would be interested in taking over this position.

Our children are seniors and we are looking forward to other avenues for volunteer opportunities. We would shadow and help out with everything next year.

Please think about it and let us know.

Thank you for all you do!

For those who are interested in helping the band with Paulding Meadows next year, below is the "job description".  It may look daunting, but it is absolutely one of the biggest fundraisers we have and we need your help!

Go to meetings once a month starting in March and ending in October. The meetings are held the third Monday of the month at the Paulding County Extension Bld. at 530 W. Memorial Dr., near the old hospital in Dallas.

Meet with Band Booster Executive Board in June to give an update.

Meet with the Band Boosters to introduce Paulding Meadows – when, where, and what we need from the Boosters.

Set up Volunteer sign up sheets in Charms:
Front Gate, Parking Lot, and Food Booth.

Give tickets to Mr. McConnell to pass out to students and their parents. Let Mr. McConnell know what time the band will perform on Saturday

Check donation levels (soda, water, and oreos) and volunteer sign ups. If low, send out an email. Continue to send emails every week asking for donations and sign ups.

The week of Paulding Meadows meet with the Treasurer and get start up money and money for ice.

Purchase items from Sams Club, Walmart, and Home Depot.

Depending on the Band schedule, pick up little trailer and items Friday afternoon or Friday evening and drop off items at Paulding Meadows.

Text your volunteers who sign up to work the front gate, and let them know they must me there 30 minutes before their shift.
