October 27th - Pink Out Information

Flamingo Flock for a Cure

A flock of pink flamingos will be roosting on the front lawn of South Paulding High School's football stadium for our Pink Out game on October 27th. The flamingos are available for “adoption” for a small fee to help raise awareness of breast cancer and to raise funds to support breast-cancer care in our area.

The Band, Cheer and Football programs are coming together to support breast cancer care and to make this flock grow!!  ALL SPHS students, staff, parents and families are invited to adopt one or more yard-size pink flamingo(s) in honor or in memory of a loved-one. Each bird will have an ID tag with the names of those the adopters wish to honor or remember.

Please contact a SPHS band or football program parent to adopt a flamingo.  “Adoption fees” are $10 for one flamingo.  Proceeds of the Flamingo Flock for a Cure project go to the Tanner Breast Health.

An order form can be downloaded and sent in. Click this link to access the form.
Please share with anyone you feel would be interested! This is NOT limited to band/football people!

ADDITIONALLY, if you are a breast cancer survivor (or know someone who is) and would like to join in the celebration at the Pink-Out game Oct. 27, please contact Mrs. Deb as soon as possible!
