Hi Everyone,
This week we had the
pleasure of announcing that the Spirit of South Paulding will be traveling to
Hawaii in February of 2019 to perform at Pearl Harbor. We are so proud of
our students for being selected for this opportunity. The trip will include
activities such as touring the U.S.S. Bowfin, a clinic with the Band Director
from the University of Hawaii, hula lessons, catamaran rides, sightseeing, and
more.
We are so excited
about this opportunity for our students and look forward to sharing more information
about this trip on Tuesday, February 6th, in the South Paulding High School
Band Room at 6:30 PM. This trip will be available to all 2018-2019
members of the Spirit of South Paulding (including our current 8th grade
students). Please take time to attend the meeting on February 6th. We will discuss the itinerary for the trip,
the cost structure, the payment schedule, fundraising opportunities, and answer
any questions you may have.
