Good Afternoon,
As many of you already know, the heat index for this week is significantly higher than it has been the past few weeks. Due to an abundance of caution, our winds and colorguard will practice INSIDE today, Monday August 12th, from 3:45 PM - 6:00 PM and our percussionists will practice INSIDE from 3:45 - 7:00 PM.
Unfortunately, the rest of the week is supposed to be even warmer than today. Due to the forecast, and the fact that we have limited practice time available with our Marching Band throughout the season, we will practice Tuesday and Thursday of this week from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM. We never like to deviate from our posted calendar, but the health and safety of our students always comes first. We understand that this change may be difficult for some of you, and we appreciate your understanding.
Parents - please encourage your children to keep drinking water throughout the day so they are adequately hydrated. As always, please let Mr. McConnell or Mrs. Greene know if you have any questions.
