We wanted to share a few important details about this week:
1 - Our Marching Band will perform this Thursday, August 29th, for a community pep rally in the SPHS Football Stadium. The Pep Rally will start at 6:45 and should conclude sometime around 7:15. Parents are encouraged to attend!
2 - Friday we play North Paulding HS at North Paulding. We will leave SPHS at 5:30 PM. Students should stay after school with us on Friday to eat / change / and load equipment for the trip.
Friday, 8/30 vs. NPHS
3:25 PM - Students Load equipment
3:45 PM - Students Eat Dinner
4:30 PM - Students change into uniforms
5:00 PM - Uniform Inspection in Band Room
5:15 PM - Load Busses
5:30 PM - Depart for NPHS
6:00 PM - Arrive at NPHS
7:30 PM - Kickoff
10:30 PM - Game Ends
10:45 PM - Depart for SPHS
11:15 PM - Arrive at SPHS
**** A note on High School Football - due to the nature of Football, we can only provide an estimated time of arrival after the game on Friday night. Some games are very quick, while others are very slow. We have instructed our students to text their parents when we are 20 minutes from SPHS.
