Good Afternoon,
We are so excited about our Spring Concert and Band Banquet
this week. Here is everything you need
to know:
Spring Concert – Tuesday, 5/18
We have elected to move our Spring Concert to the main gym
in order to accommodate more guests. Each
student may have 4 guests attend their performance tomorrow. We do ask that everyone clear the gymnasium after
each group performs in order to accommodate room for the spectators of the next
ensemble performing. We do also ask that
families social distance in the gym. Students
in the Concert Band should report to the school by 5:15. Students in the Symphonic Band should report
no later than 6:00 PM. Students in the
Wind Ensemble should report no later than 6:45 PM. We will plan to wear our concert uniforms, so
students should come prepared to wear their tuxedos and dresses.
Performance Times:
SPHS Concert Band – 6:00 PM
SPHS Symphonic Band – 6:45 PM
SPHS Wind Ensemble – 7:30 PM
Band Banquet – Thursday, 5/20
Our Band Banquet will take place outside in the football
stadium on Thursday, 5/20. Families are
encouraged to attend! We are excited
that we have a few food trucks coming out to feed us before the recognitions
and awards begin – Country Girls (American Food) and Kona Ice. The trucks will be set up at 6:00 PM right
outside the football stadium. We
encourage everyone to get here at 6:00 to eat and fellowship, and then we will
start with awards and recognitions right at 7:00 PM in the stadium.
