Dear Parents,
Paulding Meadows Arts & Crafts Festival
is one of the band's biggest fundraisers of the year. Not only do
our children get to perform for the community, they get to make some money
for the band and for their student accounts! Paulding Meadows will be
September 10th and 11th. The band will perform on Saturday the 10th
at 12 PM. During the festival we make and sell Fried Oreos! We also
serve canned Pepsi products and 16.9 oz bottled water.
The following is a list of items that we need to make this event
successful:
- Cans only: Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Dr.
Pepper, Diet Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Diet Mountain Dew, Orange
Crush.
- 16.9 oz bottles of water (any
brand)
- Oreos - REGULAR Oreos ~ They
have to be name brand and they can't be double stuffed or thin. The
fried Oreos do not turn out correctly if they are not the regular Oreos.
If you are interested in donating powdered sugar, pancake
batter, or cooking oil, please let me know. There are specific brands
that we use.
Another big part of Paulding Meadows is volunteer work at
the front gate and in the parking lot. The students make money toward their student
accounts for this. We also need adults to work the gate, as well as
with students in the parking lot. Adults do not get credit towards student
accounts, but we can not do this without adult volunteers. This is for both days!
Students and adults will also sign up to work in the food
booth. We will need 2 adults per shift, along with the students. If
your child wants to work multiple shifts, they will need to sign up for the parking
lot and the food booth. Time slots will be posted in CutTime by
August 14th.
