We hope all of you are doing well. Here are some important things for you to know about the next few weeks:
Poinsettia Fundraiser
Our Poinsettia Fundraiser will be available for pickup on Thursday of this week. We will have them in the band room and you can pick up anytime after school before 7 PM.
COTA Information
Our annual Holiday Collaboration of the Arts concert is next Thursday, December 11th, at 6:30 PM in the SPHS Theater. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased starting TODAY through our Simple Raise store. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND you purchase tickets early, because the event always sells out! Buy your tickets early! Students should be in the band room on the 11th (dressed and ready to perform!) no later than 5:30 PM. The Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band will all warm up in the Band Room together at 5:30 PM. We will be wearing "Sunday Best" again for this performance. Students are encouraged to wear holiday attire to this event.

Dallas Christmas Parade information
We are excited for the marching band to participate in the annual Dallas Christmas Parade this year. The parade is on December 6th. Our students will meet that morning at the Paulding Senior Center at 9 AM. The parade starts at 11:30 AM. Students should be finished with the parade by 12:30 PM.
For students who are driving themselves, they will be required to park at the Paulding Senior Center.
The band will transport sousaphones, flags, percussion instruments, and marching band uniforms to the parade. Students will wear their marching band uniforms and Santa hats. Students are responsible for securing their own Santa hat.
*We recommend you drop your students off with us at the Paulding Senior Center, park somewhere in Downtown Dallas, and watch the parade somewhere towards the end of the parade so when students are done they do not have to walk all the way back to the beginning of the parade. *
*****We have had problems in the past with students forgetting to bring their marching band shoes.*** **Please help your child remember shoes on the morning of the parade!
