Here is everything you need to know about this week!
1.
Parents – we do need volunteers for our home concession
stand during the game on Friday.
Remember, we ask every family to work once in the concession stand each
year. You can sign up directly through the
“events” page on Cut Time.
2.
Don’t forget that we do need help this weekend
at Paulding Meadows as well. Parents,
we especially need adult volunteers on SUNDAY.
Please help us ensure that this weekend is a success for our kids!
Tuesday – Marching Band Practice from 3:45 – 6:30
Wednesday – OFF
Thursday – Marching Band Practice from 3:45 – 6:30
Friday – HOME football game against North Paulding
HS. Students are not required to stay
after school, but can stay if needed. Students
should be here at SPHS no later than 6 PM.
Kickoff will be at 7:30 PM and we anticipate the game will be over sometime
around 10 PM.
Saturday – Performance at Paulding Meadows at 9 AM. Students will wear their Casual Uniform for
this performance. We perform at 9:00 AM
and students will be done at 9:45 AM. Students should plan to arrive at Earl
Duncan Park no later than 7:45 AM. For those who are new to
Paulding Meadows, traffic in the morning can really be an issue. All
members of the band must use the Northside Elementary School entrance Saturday
morning for the performance. Enter Northside Elementary, drive to the
back of the parking lot, and you will see a gate that leads you into Earl
Duncan Park. Follow this road until you see our Band Trailers. Please
plan on arriving EARLY so that your child is not LATE. For those parents
who are not working with the Band for Paulding Meadows, tickets are $3 per
person. Students are wearing their CASUAL uniform for our Paulding Meadows
performance. If anyone stops you at the Northside Elementary School entrance,
just let them know that your child is performing in the band. They will then
direct you to the proper location to meet us.
