We participated in our high 5 game of the week peprally that was hosted by Fox 5. The band sounded great despite the 7:00am report time and not having a chance to warm up. I derive this conclusion not from my own bias but from numerous comments made by our community. A few teachers who were able to speak with the Fox 5 crew after the peprally mentioned that the crew raved about our band. It was a fun experience for all of us; I think the kids would do it again even at the cost of a few minutes of sleep.
The Pope game last night was intense. Our champions on the field battled fiercely but the decision did not fall in our favor. Behind by 14 points our Spartans ran back the kickoff for a standing ovation touchdown! We are proud of our school for maintaining composure during our rollercoaster of ups and downs. It was a good run, the best football season yet.
