Please note that this is only a portion of our website. If you would like to access your account please use the "Charms" link and the SpartanHSBand passcode to allow you access to our calendar and more. Once you have input that information you can use your student's ID code to access your specific account which will give you even more options. Fall Auditions

Etudes have been uploaded to Charms for the fall auditions. The tentative date for auditions is November 18.

Audition requirements:
Scale Test: All students will demonstrate as many scales as they can play from memory in 2 minutes; more points will be rewarded for multiple octaves.

Chromatic Scale: All students will demonstrate their facility of range by performing the Chromatic range that is required by the Georgia Music Educators Association (posted on the band room wall)

Etude: All students will demonstrate artistic ability through maturity of tone, interpretation of style, articulation, intonation, tempo, and expression in a prepared etude.

Sight-Reading: All students will sight-read an etude after studying for only 30 seconds. They will demonstrate their understanding of all basic music fundamentals - tone, technique, articulation, tempo, rhythm, intonation, and phrasing.
