Week of 10.29-1.3 (SENIOR WEEK)

Let me start by congratulating you on a great week last week! Friday night was so much fun and will be remembered forever. I have received many compliments of how much fun it was to see the band in constumes and to watch you perform a Halloween Half-time Show! Thank you for your extra work in putting the show together - it was a lot very entertaining and enjoyable! Also, thank you for continuing to be a fine representation of our school while in costumes. Your behavior did not suffer even though we did not have our uniforms on. I am proud of how you carry yourselves. Keep up the hardwork.
This week we have rehearsal this afternoon from 3:45-5:00pm.
County Exhibiion tomorrow. The itinerary is below:

Tomorrow night will be windy and very cold! Plan on wearning multiple layers to stay warm in the stands. We will not have an opportunity to change in and out of uniform so please plan accordingly. The only way to combat the cold will be to layer properly. Wearing a proper fitting black tobogan under your shako is acceptable and a great way to keep your ears warm while waiting and during the performance.

Thursday we have rehearsal from 3:45-5:00pm. This is the senior's last reherasl before senior night :( They will have the opportunity to see the show from the tower.

Friday is Senior Night! This is a message from Mr. McAllister:"I will send out more details on the reception before the game next week, but right now I am looking at a starting the cake/drinks at 5:45 pm in the commons. The reception in the commons is for the students and parents, not extended family. Please advertise the reception as being for the senior student and parents. Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, concerns, advice, etc.... Parents of seniors will be permitted into the game free, but they will need to be in the commons and line up when everyone makes their way to the football field for the senior night ceremony." In the past band seniors and parents march in with us after the reception.

We will line up at 6:20pm to march into the stadium to be sure not to be late for the pre-game ceremony. All senior band members need to please fill out the form located in the band room or this online version: Senior Night Form. The forms are due by Wednesday (10/31/2012).
