Just a quick reminder that Spirit Night is quickly approaching!
All have been hard at work preparing for our first performance! Thank you to our staff, parents, and students who continue to put their best foot forward even at the end of the week when we are all tired. Friday night is our first pay-off for the season. Dinner starts at 6:00PM, please be early to find a seat. Dinner will take place in the commons area and our performance will continue on the practice field (the parking lot) following dinner- approximately 7:00PM. The students have prepared skits, we will perform some basics that we have learned these past two weeks, and will perform the drill and music that we have learned so far! The kids are off to a great start and I look forward to celebrating with you all soon!
The boosters are providing cheeseburgers and hotdogs prepared by Cheeseburger Bobby's, who donated half of our meal. They are great supporters of our band program, if you get a chance to thank them please stop in and let them know how much we appreciate them.
The RSVP form has a list of items separated by section of items that we need for Spirit Night. Students started bringing some of that in today, thank you for helping to keep the costs of the evening down. By everyone doing their part to help donate the requested items we will continue to provide a meal with our Spirit Night without a ticket cost for each family. It really is a fun evening for all of us to come together and celebrate the start of another GREAT season :)
Band attire for Friday night is our casual uniform: Show Shirt (handed out on Friday morning), Khaki Pants, White Socks, 51% White Shoes, Brown Belt. The colorguard attire varies a little bit and has been announced to the students.
