Good evening!
Reminder that there is a booster club meeting tomorrow evening at 7:00PM in the Band Room. Also, Mr. Morgan will be hosting a drum clinic for our students to keep drumming on Monday's that there are booster meetings. This has been announced to the students and we encourage all of our percussionists to attend. We will work on techniques to continue improving our timing and develop the muscles required to have "good hands."
We are selling pies from Waffle House at this meeting. Each pie costs $10.00 and will be delivered on Friday. The Waffle House at 7100 Concourse Pkwy in Douglasville is allowing us to sell Pumpkin, Pecan, Apple, and Chocolate Pies to help raise profits for our London Trip. We are running this as a trial, but only selling at tomorrow's booster meeting so that we can have the pies in time for Thanksgiving.
Also, we have an away game this Friday versus Gainesville HS as our football team participates in the second round of the state playoffs. Knowing that the game is the Friday before our Thanksgiving Break, please alert Mr. Carr (ccarr@Paulding.k12.ga.us) immediately if there are circumstances preventing your child's participate from Friday's game. The students had fun during the last playoff game and I really think that they will have fun at the next one too.
