Here is a vocal version of October. October is a rare piece indeed because more commonly Whitacre's pieces have been transcribed for wind instruments from his choral works. This is a choral transcription of the work that was originally written for wind band! It is absolutely beautiful in both mediums - so I thought that I would share this. The Wind Ensemble is performing this as part of our Veteran's Day Concert on Thursday. It's going to be great concert!
