Fwd: Helping Hands Donations collected at the parade

Hello,

 

My name is Jim Simpson with the Paulding Country Rotary Club.  Congratulations on being involved with the Christmas Parade this year.  I know me and my family look forward to this each year, and it wouldn't be possible without you.  This year we want to maximize what we can do with the parade to help those in need in Paulding County, so we are asking all parade entrants to bring at least 1 can per person you have in the parade.  We have set a goal to collect 1 ton of canned goods to go to Helping Hands.  That is about 2000 cans.  If all entered organizations brought 25 cans, it would exceed that goal.  If each person signed up within each entered organization we would exceed that goal even further.  So please spread the word to all the participants you have included within your organization to bring 1 can of food as a way to help the less fortunate in our own community.  There will be a drop point at the parade staging area.
