I had a revelation this afternoon that I completely messed up the District Honor Band times. I forgot that our district has elected to not use the times automatically assigned by the computer system (Opus) and instead prefer for schools to show up in blocks. Our assigned block is actually the same as it was last year: 1:00PM.
This means that we are in the block that performs after lunchtime.
The DHB officials have asked that all students must arrive before 2:00PM. The lines start getting longer right after lunch - the judges will be eating from 12:00PM-1:00PM. Be sure to arrive as close to 12:45 as possible, have a sensible warm-up, and go do your best. Although others try to "prove themselves" in the practice room. There aren't any judges listening to you guys in there! Sensible warm-up, audition, and go home :)
