I am extremely proud of our students who battled inclement weather this morning to make it to Houston County High School and audition for their opportunity to make history and represent our school on a state level. There were roughly 2000 students who auditioned for the opportunity to participate in this year's All-State Bands and 18 of those auditions were taken by a South Paulding High School Band student! Making it to this level takes extra dedication above and beyond what is achieved in our band classroom and our 18 students represented us with the highest class today. Thank you for your extra dedication and for making our band program one of the best in the state. It is because the example that you set and your leadership that our program continues to excel.
