Hi Everyone!
Three things:
1 - We were so impressed with the band at the CHOA Christmas Parade on Saturday. It was a very proud day to be a Spartan! For anyone who missed it, the parade will be televised again on December 25th at 12:00 PM on WSB.
2 - On Thursday, December 8th we are having our annual Collaboration of the Arts at 6:30 PM in the SPHS Theater. Tickets to this event are $5 and can be purchased by students during all four lunches starting this week. Ticket quantities are limited, and this event does sell out! We will also sell tickets at the door if any remain. It is a great way to celebrate the season the Fine Arts programs at South Paulding High School. It will be a night of celebration, and we hope you can join us! Band students will need to be here and in full concert uniform the evening of the 8th by 5:45 PM.
3 - District Honor Band Auditions are this Saturday, December 10th, at East Paulding High School. Students who are auditioning should dress professionally. Our audition time for South Paulding High School is 9:00 AM. We recommend you arriving no later than 8:15 to register and have time to warm up. Please be aware that students should audition at 9:00 AM, regardless of what the time on their sheet says. Those times are auto-assigned and we do not use them for our District.
