Just updating and sending this information again.
We will have breakfast here for the students in the morning. For students who are planning on checking out and going with their families after the parade, they will need to check out from our lead chaperone at the buses (they will be parked on West Peachtree somewhere between 3rd and 9th.
We are very excited to have been selected to perform in the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Christmas Parade on December 3rd. As in the past, we will wear our Marching Band uniforms with Santa Hats to the parade. Students will need to provide their own Santa Hat. Here are the logistics for the morning of the 3rd:
8:00 AM - Student's Arrive at SPHS
8:30 AM - Depart for the CHOA Christmas Parade
9:30 AM - Arrive at staging
10:20 AM - Parade Begins - We are number 52 in the parade!
12:00 PM - Parade Ends
1:00 PM - Arrive @ South Paulding High School
Parade Route: The route stretches one mile along Peachtree St. between 15th and 5th Streets. The TV performance zone stretches for a city block between 12th and 11th Streets which is four blocks into the parade.
