2 - Our Pre-LGPE Concert is this Thursday, 2/25! We will follow the same guidelines as our previous concerts - students may only have two guests in attendance so that we can adequately social distance in the auditorium. We highly recommend that those in attendance wear a mask. Seating will again be marked in the auditorium. Parents may only stay for the performance of their child - we will clear the auditorium between performances to allow the air conditioning system to cycle. Students will also not be allowed to watch the other bands perform (with the exception of siblings.) Students will perform in their instrument masks and their bell covers.
6:00 PM – Concert Band (Students need to arrive and be dressed by 5:15)
6:45 PM – Symphonic Band (Students need to arrive and be dressed by 6:00)
7:30 PM – Wind Ensemble (Students need to arrive and be dressed by 6:45)
Also, students will be wearing our Concert Uniforms for Thursdays performance (tuxedos and concert dresses.) Please do make sure that your $20 concert uniform fee is paid by Thursday of this week either through Charms or put into the safe in the band room.
3 - For students participating in District Honor Band - Our district is charging a $10 acceptance fee this year. This will go to pay for the rental and use of the Carrollton Performing Arts Center. Please do get this in ASAP.
