Hi Everyone,
We have a regular practice schedule this week! Friday we are AWAY at New Manchester - we will plan to leave SPHS at 5:30 PM and should be back around 11:30 PM. Here is everything you need to know for the next few weeks (it is quite a bit!)
1. MUM Fundraiser - mums will be delivered this week. We're still waiting on confirmation on which day they will be delivered, but we will let you know as soon as we know.
2. Cheese Fundraiser - We passed out fundraising information for our Annual Cheese Fundraiser right before the break. Please check with your students for their order forms. The cheese fundraiser is due back in on Friday, October 10th. Here is a link to the cheese order form: Cheese Form
3. Homecoming Parade - Our homecoming parade is next Tuesday, October 7th here at SPHS. Students should plan to bring their casual uniform to school with them. We will plan to practice in our casual uniforms and move straight from practice to the parade. Parents – we encourage you to attend the parade and community pep rally tomorrow evening. The parade starts at 6:30 and the community pep rally will happen directly after the parade in the South Paulding HS Football Stadium. Students should be done sometime around 7:30 PM on the 7th.
4. 2025 Paulding County Marching Band Exhibition
Tuesday, October 14th is our Marching Band Exhibition which will be hosted at East Paulding HS. That day is also a 2 hour early release day for the district. Students should plan to stay with us at the end of the day. Here is our schedule:
Tuesday, October 14th – Marching Band Exhibition
4:15 PM - Depart SPHS
4:45 PM - Arrive @ EPHS
5:30 PM – Mass Band Rehearsal at the SPHS football practice field.
6:30 PM – The exhibition begins.
8:15 PM – SPHS Performs
9:15 PM – The exhibition concludes. Students will help clean up / put up equipment and load busses to come back to SPHS.

2025 Paulding County Marching Band Exhibition - Band - Oct 14, 2025
Tickets will also be available for purchase at the gate for $10. Children 5 and under are free. PCSD employees are admitted free of charge with their county badge. 8th grade band students are also admitted for free with a ticket provided by their middle school band director.
5. Rockmart HS Band Competition
Here is the schedule for our band contest at Rockmart High School on October the 18th.

Awards - 9:30 PM
Depart Rockmart HS - 10:30 PM
Arrive @ SPHS - 11:30 PM
The band will feed our students before we leave for RHS, but they may want to bring money to eat in the concession stand for a late snack as well.
