Our trip to Savannah/Troy has been cancelled due to the road conditions in Paulding County. I am very disappointed as I know that you are, but would rather know that everyone in our ensemble is safe than to risk your well being.
Neither the convention nor the honor clinic will be rescheduled due to weather, but unfortunately we are unable to attend with the current conditions.
I am extremely proud of the hard work that everyone gave in preparation of these performances. As previously announced: We will perform a concert for our community on Tuesday, February 4th, 2014 at 7:00PM with a reception to follow to celebrate your achievements. I hate that we were not able to receive the reward of taking the trip and performing for the intended audiences, but the true gift was in the process of preparing the concert. The lessons learned will serve you for the rest of your life. I love you guys and am truly sorry that this was not able to work out this year.
